Job description

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven IT Sales Hunter to focus on new business acquisition within the technology sector. This role is ideal for a proactive sales professional with a strong hunter mindset, capable of identifying opportunities, engaging key decision-makers, and closing deals. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of technology solutions and the ability to position them effectively to address client business challenges.



Key Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify, qualify, and generate new business opportunities within the technology sector.


  • Conduct aggressive prospecting through networking, market research, referrals, and industry events.


  • Develop a strong understanding of the company’s technology solutions and clearly articulate their value proposition.


  • Perform solution-based selling by identifying customer pain points and aligning suitable technology solutions.


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including IT Managers, IT Directors, CIOs, and CTOs.


  • Manage the sales pipeline using CRM tools, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, and forecasts.


  • Conduct market and competitor analysis to stay informed on industry trends, offerings, and pricing strategies.


  • Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets through effective sales planning and execution.


  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery for new clients.



Requirements
  • Proven track record in IT / technology sales, with a strong focus on new business development (hunter role).


  • Diploma / bachelor's degree in IT or any related field. 


  • Minimum 2–4 years of experience in technology sales or B2B IT services sales.


  • Strong understanding of the technology landscape, including current and emerging technologies.


  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.


  • Demonstrated ability to build trust and long-term relationships with clients.


  • Experience using CRM and sales automation tools.


  • Highly self-driven, target-oriented, and resilient under pressure.
