The Business Development Manager plays a crucial role in driving growth and expanding the market presence of a construction and building company in Dubai, UAE. This position involves identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with clients, and developing strategies to enhance the company's competitive edge. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of strategic thinking, sales acumen, and industry knowledge to effectively navigate the dynamic construction landscape.

Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the construction sector.
  2. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the customer base.
  3. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners including property developers.
  4. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential areas for growth.
  5. Prepare and present proposals, bids, and contracts to prospective clients.
  6. Collaborate with project management teams to ensure client requirements are met.
  7. Monitor industry developments and adjust business strategies accordingly.
  8. Attend industry events and networking functions to promote the company and its services.
  9. Prepare regular reports on business development activities and performance metrics.
  10. Lead and mentor a team of business development professionals to achieve departmental goals.
