The Business Analyst will be a vital link between our information technology capacity and our business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of IT projects and product enhancements. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong ability to handle multiple concurrent and changing assignments, prioritize work endeavours to meet on-time and on-budget targets.
ACCOUNTABILITIES
§Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
§Manage technology changes and product enhancements, working collaboratively with key stakeholders to translate business requirements into appropriate functional specifications.
§Develop UI/UX or other artifacts to facilitate requirement refinements as needed.
§Capturing use cases, user stories and acceptance criteria and collaborate closely with the development and QA team to clarify and plan the product roadmap.
§Serve as the expert to drive the planning and prioritization of projects and product enhancements and ensure alignment between business strategy and tech initiatives.
§Manage project lifecycle phases and provide to program management team reports on project status, identifying mitigating option to keep on track.
§Utilize and maintain communications on project management tool.
§Identify, document, and investigate issues reported by our customers and work with our IT teams to find the root cause, understand the problem, and help come up with solutions.
§Contribute to the evolution of our tech stack, continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’ by acquiring and maintaining knowledge of emerging technology and tools.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS
§Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or an equivalent combination of technical education, training, and work experience.
§Minimum of three years’ experience in software business analysis role.
§Proven ability to manage stakeholder communications and facilitate workshops, demonstrating strong verbal and written skills.
§Experience in process modelling and prototyping.
§Knowledge of/experience with QA processes and testing requirements.
§Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.
§Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset.
§Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc).
Good to Have:
§Experience with Salesforce/ Mobile applications.
§Experience working with user stories in an agile framework.
§Experience in JIRA or similar defect tracking tools.
