Job description

The Barista position at our esteemed coffee shop in Abu Dhabi offers a unique opportunity for coffee enthusiasts to showcase their skills in a vibrant and dynamic environment. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service while crafting high-quality coffee beverages. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about coffee, enjoy interacting with customers, and thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
  2. Engage with customers to provide recommendations and ensure a positive experience.
  3. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and seating area.
  4. Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
  5. Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash register operations.
  6. Participate in training programs to enhance coffee knowledge and customer service skills.
  7. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service and a harmonious work environment.
  8. Stay updated on coffee trends and menu offerings to provide informed suggestions to customers.
  9. Assist in creating promotional materials and events to attract new customers.
  10. Adhere to health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for both customers and staff.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
  2. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time effectively.
  3. Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  4. Passion for coffee and a willingness to learn about different brewing techniques.
  5. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  6. Team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
  7. Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  8. Ability to handle stressful situations with grace and professionalism.
  9. Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.
  10. Knowledge of coffee equipment and maintenance is a plus.

  • Total Salary for Barista will be AED 2311. The salary is all inclusive.
  •  Location can be based anywhere in UAE and only those who are flexible to move should apply.
  •  Candidate must have knowledge of making coffee and without coffee experience mentioned on their CV, they cannot be considered. Please ensure proper screening is done.
  •   Minimum education criteria: Secondary schooling and above.
