Job Description:

ATLANTA TRAINING CENTER, a KHDA-approved training institute in Dubai, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Diagnostics Instructor to lead our On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) Training course. This course integrates core concepts of automotive mechanics, electrical systems, and OBD-II diagnostics, and is designed to prepare students for real-world roles in automotive service and repair.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive training in automotive mechanics, electrical systems, and OBD-II diagnostics.
• Conduct hands-on sessions using real vehicles, engines, and professional-grade diagnostic tools.
• Teach students how to diagnose and repair faults in fuel, ignition, emission, and electrical systems.
• Evaluate student performance through practical assessments, quizzes, and a final examination.
• Promote workshop safety, professional conduct, and customer service skills.
• Maintain training equipment and ensure a safe, effective learning environment.

Required Qualifications:

• 7–10 years of hands-on experience in automotive diagnostics, mechanical repair, and electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of internal combustion engines, vehicle systems (braking, suspension, transmission), and automotive electricity.
• Proven experience in teaching, training, or mentoring in a workshop or classroom setting.
• Industry certifications (e.g., ASE, manufacturer-specific training) are highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and instructional skills.
• Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in using OBD-II scan tools and interpreting Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear, engaging manner.
• Familiarity with KHDA training standards and vocational education best practices.
