Job Summary:

Our client, a multinational automotive company is looking for an Assistant Manager (Sales Planning) - Parts Division. Territory: GCC, Levant and Parts of Africa. Reports to: Sales Manager



Key Responsibilities:
    • Develop the annual and mid-term Sales Plan for Parts, Accessories, and Consumables for assigned markets.
    • Lead sales forecasting, demand planning, and budgeting in coordination with Sales, Logistics, and Finance teams.
    • Analyze sales trends, market demand, vehicle population, and model mix to derive accurate projections.
    • Monitor regional performance vs. target and recommend corrective action plans for gap closure.
    • Develop pricing structures, discount schemes, and incentive programs in line with company objectives.
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans at regional, dealer, and product levels.
    • Conduct business analytics for Parts product groups including Oils, Batteries, Tyres, and Accessories.
    • Support new product introduction planning and lifecycle management through volume planning and pricing.
    • Coordinate with Parts Operations and Logistics teams on stock planning, safety stock, and S&OP alignment.
    • Design and implement dealer performance dashboards and KPI tracking mechanisms.
    • Drive digital tools and BI system utilization for sales analytics and forecasting accuracy.
    • Support channel partners with target setting, sales planning guidance, and business reviews.
    • Capture and analyze competitor pricing and market activity and propose countermeasures.
  • General Responsibilities
    • Provide data-driven insights for strategic and tactical decision making.
    • Participate in sales strategy, pricing strategy, and campaign planning discussions.
    • Conduct market research on demand outlook, parts consumption trends, and opportunity areas.
    • Standardize planning processes, templates, and reporting formats across regions.
  • Reporting
  • Weekly / Monthly reporting on:
    • Sales performance vs. plan
    • Forecast accuracy and variance analysis
    • Budget utilization and gap closure status
  • Monthly PDCA review for business improvement and action planning.
  • KPIs
    • Sales Plan Achievement (Value and Volume)
    • Forecast Accuracy % by product group and region
    • Gross Profit Achievement
    • Inventory Turnover & Fill Rate (in coordination with operations)
    • Accessory and Consumable penetration ratios
    • Dealer Business Plan adherence

Requirements:
  • Background & Qualifications
    • Minimum Graduate, preferably in Business / Engineering / Commerce
    • Experience at OEM preferred
    Knowledge & Skills
    • Sales Planning, Demand Forecasting, and Budgeting
    • Channel Management and Dealer Business Understanding
    • CRM / DMS / BI / Analytics tools
    • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
    • Strong numerical and analytical ability
    • Excellent communication & presentation skills
    • English proficiency (Arabic an advantage)
