The Zoho Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized business solutions using the Zoho platform. The role focuses on building scalable applications, automating business processes, and integrating Zoho products with internal and external systems to enhance operational efficiency and support business objectives.
The Zoho Developer works closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to translate requirements into functional solutions, ensuring high-quality delivery, system reliability, and continuous improvement.
•Zoho Solutions Development & Implementation
•Design, develop, and implement solutions across Zoho applications (e.g., Zoho CRM, Zoho Creator, Zoho Desk, Zoho Books).
•Customize Zoho applications using Deluge scripting, workflows, blueprints, and custom modules to meet business requirements.
•Translate business needs into technical designs, including process flows, data models, and system configurations.
•Configure and deploy Zoho solutions, ensuring alignment with best practices and scalability requirements.
•System Integration
•Integrate Zoho applications with third-party systems, APIs, and internal platforms.
•Develop and manage REST API integrations to enable seamless data exchange between systems.
•Ensure data synchronization, integrity, and consistency across integrated platforms.
•Client & Stakeholder Collaboration
•Work closely with clients and internal stakeholders to gather, analyze, and validate business and technical requirements.
•Provide technical consultation and recommend optimal Zoho-based solutions.
•Support users by troubleshooting issues, resolving defects, and escalating complex cases when needed.
•Quality Assurance & Testing
•Perform unit testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solution quality and performance.
•Validate all configurations and customizations in sandbox environments prior to production deployment.
•Ensure solutions meet functional, performance, and security standards.
•Technical Documentation
•Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including system architecture, configurations, and user guides.
•Document integrations, workflows, and customization logic for future scalability and maintenance.
•Training & Support
•Provide training sessions and workshops for clients and internal teams on Zoho applications and implemented solutions.
•Support post-implementation activities, including enhancements, issue resolution, and system optimization.
•Continuous Improvement
•Stay up to date with the latest Zoho platform updates, features, and best practices.
•Identify opportunities to enhance existing solutions, automate processes, and improve system performance.
