1. Daily Operations
- Execute day-to-day warehouse operations in line with established standards and procedures
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and align with best practices
- Prepare accurate and timely warehouse reports in compliance with company policies and requirements
2. Job-Specific Accountabilities
- Develop, review, and update SOPs to standardize processes and improve workflow efficiency
- Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with cGMP standards and implementing corrective and preventive actions as needed
- Review and analyze reports related to warehouse conditions and quality checks, addressing issues promptly
- Ensure adherence to management directives and SOPs to maintain consistency and quality standards
- Plan and supervise staff schedules, including duty assignments and vacations, to ensure operational continuity
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies related to safety and legal requirements
- Align warehouse activities with organizational strategy and performance objectives
- Conduct regular inspections of warehouse facilities, vehicles, and equipment
- Monitor overtime and manage assets within budget constraints to ensure cost efficiency
- Submit daily, weekly, and periodic performance reports to support decision-making
- Prepare and submit monthly EMS reports to ensure environmental compliance
- Manage internal and external audits, including self-inspections, and ensure proper CAPA implementation
- Oversee inventory control practices using the ERP system and ensure accuracy of records
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse function
- Evaluate warehouse capacity and utilization, and plan for future requirements
- Develop and implement warehouse security systems and controls
3. Team Management
- Supervise and coordinate the work of warehouse staff to ensure efficiency and compliance
- Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development to team members
- Conduct performance evaluations and appraisals in line with PMS requirements
- Offer regular feedback to support employee growth and performance improvement
4. Policies, Processes & Procedures
- Implement and enforce approved warehouse policies, processes, and procedures
- Guide and monitor team adherence to ensure controlled and compliant operations
5. Safety, Quality & Environment
- Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and environmental policies and standards
- Promote a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible workplace**
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in warehouse operations within pharmaceutical manufacturing, including 2–3 years in a supervisory role
- In-depth knowledge of local labor laws and HR policies
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, communication, and decision-making skills
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance
- Solid understanding of supply chain management, warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics processes
- Experience with ERP systems (preferably SAP)
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and pharmaceutical regulations
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment
