Responsible for efficient and standard handling of flights assigned meeting required deadlines to ensure On Time Performance.
Prepares VIP and Private Aviation flights according to galley packing diagrams and instructions issued by Saudia and Private Aviation carriers. • Coordinates closely with kitchen production for meal delivery in accordance with checking times. • Ensures all meals/ beverages are in accordance with specifications laid down by Saudia, Private carriers and Saudi Airlines Catering. • Responsible for checking all food and beverage items for quality and quantity prior to loading. • Ensures all flights are loaded according to deadline given by Saudia VIP/ Private Aviation or VIP Cell. • Requires handling flights without assistance from Supervisors. • Attend to offload, on the Aircraft, and at the Unit in liaison within checking. • Maintains service folders of VIP Aircrafts. • Should have a comprehensive knowledge of radio communication procedure. • Maintains proper pre-set equipment level, ensuring proper labelling. • Submits equipment checklists to in checking for follow up and equipment balance. • Alerts the Supervisor with regard to any deviation or delay from other Sections. • Specifically, responsible for equipment, stock control and balance with other Action taken through Supervisor. • Maintains good relations with other Sections and Airport agencies. • Preparation of equipment and catering uplifts in accordance with standards/ instructions specified. • Responsible for checking all food, beverage and other catering items for quantity and quality prior to loading. • Maintains service folders of VIP Aircrafts. • Maintains proper pre-set equipment level, ensuring proper labelling. • Maintains good relations with other Sections and Airport agencies. • Work and cooperate with related Departments/ Sections in order to meet planned deadlines. • Top quality and problem free VIP and Private Aviation operation. • Awareness of changing instruction/ standards relating to all VIP/ Private Aviation operational procedures. • Read and action whenever necessary internal telexes and update necessary Staff. • Keep Daily Booking List updated and ensure all concerned Departments are informed in the absence of VIP Supervisor. • To monitor equipment flow maintained to ensure balance obtained on all flights. • To monitor status of flights in progress as per prescribed deadlines. • Liaise progress of production, beverage, equipment and assembly. • Monitoring quality and expiry dates of locally purchased items, food and dry store items. • Monitoring Staff performance, reporting through the Supervisor. • Follow-up meal orders/ internal telex messages and ensure appropriate action as per deadlines. • Follow-up changes in instructions or standards.
