Job Purpose The Sales Representative, is responsible for identifying potential customers, generating leads, promoting company products/services, and closing sales to achieve revenue targets.
The role focuses on building strong customer relationships, understanding client needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process that supports business growth.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Identify and pursue new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and market visits.
Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
Convert leads into successful sales through effective negotiation and communication.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets set by the company.
Customer Relationship Management Build and maintain long-term relationships with existing and new customers.
Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering appropriate solutions.
Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and handle any issues professionally.
Market Research & Reporting Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
Submit regular sales reports including visits, leads, and achievements.
Provide insights to management to support sales strategies and decision-making.
Coordination & Administration Coordinate with internal departments (logistics, finance, operations) to ensure timely product delivery and customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM or tracking systems.
Participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and promotional activities when required.
Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred, not mandatory).
Previous experience as a Sales Representative, Sales Executive, or a similar role.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build trust and lasting customer relationships.
Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
Good knowledge of MS Office and CRM tools.
Valid driving license (if field sales).
Ability to work under pressure and meet sales targets.
