Job description

This role supports the ongoing development and maintenance of Enterprise Risk Management Strategy and frameworks in supporting the Group strategy and business activity, and risk champions continued growth in risk maturity. The Risk assessment supervisor assists managers across the organization with the development, execution and ongoing assessment processes for identifying, measuring, managing and mitigating risks. Assisting the administrative and supervisory responsibilities of the Enterprise Risk Management Department. Ensures that established policies and procedures are followed. Assists in coordinating and facilitating workflow. Assists in training and risk awareness plan. Performs miscellaneous Enterprise Risk Management functions.

  • Adherence to governmental rules & regulations; the group policies and procedures (including but not limited to manuals, employment contract, employee manual, Human Resources policies, ERM’s policies and procedures manual and confidentiality agreement etc.)
  • Responsible for the assessment, innovation, governance, and management necessary to identify, evaluate, mitigate, and monitor the company's operational and strategic risk.
  • Maintains the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Assist in the Continuous development of Enterprise Risk Management tools, practices, and policies to analyze and report enterprise risks, and to manage risks according to an enterprise risk management framework.
  • Ensures the organization's risk management policies and strategies are compliant with applicable regulations, and strategic goals and initiatives of the organization.
  • Assist in the establishment of the risk assessment architecture for the Group.
  • Proactively networks with risk champions to ensure risk assessment exercise (Group Standards) are understood, constantly monitored and developed.
  • Oversees or monitors all operational risk management activities of the organization.
  • Monitor, assess and analyse risks within the company's business units and reports on these risks to the ERM.
  • Identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices considering ‘international best practice’, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement pertain to Risk Assessment practices.
  • Performance of Risk Champions and identifying areas of improvement; and
  • Nonadherence to applicable ERM policies and procedures manual.
