Projects Manager – Electrical (Power / SEC)

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly accomplished Projects Manager with 10–20+ years of experience in delivering large-scale power and electrical projects. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience working on projects with Saudi Electricity Company, with a strong track record in managing full project lifecycles from initiation to commissioning.

The candidate must also demonstrate strong expertise in both Underground (UG) and Overhead (OHL) power infrastructure, with hands-on experience in execution and project management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee multiple large-scale electrical projects across the full EPC lifecycle.
  • Manage all project phases: Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Testing & Commissioning.
  • Develop and control project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
  • Manage site teams, subcontractors, and all project stakeholders effectively.
  • Ensure full compliance with Saudi Electricity Company standards, safety regulations, and quality requirements.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks proactively.
  • Monitor project performance and ensure delivery within budget and timeline.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal departments.
  • Review and approve engineering designs, technical submissions, and project deliverables.
  • Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement across projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10–20 years of experience in power / electrical projects.
  • Proven experience in projects with Saudi Electricity Company.
  • Strong technical background in:
  • Substations
  • Transmission & Distribution
  • Extensive experience in:
  • Underground Power Networks (UG Cables)
  • Overhead Transmission & Distribution Lines (OHL)
  • Hands-on experience in:
  • Cable laying, jointing, and testing (MV / HV / EHV)
  • Overhead line construction, erection, and commissioning
  • Routing, design coordination, and site execution
  • Maintenance and fault troubleshooting
  • PMP Certification (Highly Preferred).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of project management tools and methodologies.
  • Proven experience in managing large budgets and multiple project sites.
