Role Summary:


Jamjoom Pharma is seeking a Production & Supply Planning Jr. Manager to support end-to-end planning activities at our main manufacturing site in Saudi Arabia. The role plays a key part in ensuring service level achievement, efficient production scheduling, and effective cross-functional coordination.


Responsibilities: 


  • Liaise with the Demand Forecasting team to understand forecasted requirements and manage supply to achieve and maintain high levels of customer service.
  • Develop robust supply plans that meet commercial requirements while optimizing inventory levels and cost efficiency.
  • Conduct Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP) with relevant stakeholders to identify anticipated capacity constraints, assess supply/demand imbalances, and recommend mitigation actions.
  • Analyze gaps between demand, supply, and capacity, and propose scenario-based solutions.
  • Develop and maintain finite production schedules aligned with available capacity, ensuring smooth execution of monthly, weekly, and daily production schedules.
  • Ensure planning alignment during new product introductions (NPI) and validation activities.
  • Use planning systems (SAP S/4HANA and SAP IBP) effectively for supply and production planning activities, and support standardization of planning processes across sites.
  • Ensure accuracy and proper maintenance of planning master data, including BOMs, routings, production versions (PVs), minimum order quantities (MOQ), lead times, and safety stock parameters.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional teams including Production, Quality, Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement, and Logistics.
  • Own and lead the Supply Planning Review (SPR) with senior stakeholders as part of the S&OP / IBP cycle, assessing capacity constraints, identifying supply risks, and proposing mitigation plans.
  • Contribute to Cluster S&OP meetings and prepare planning data and analysis for Executive S&OP reviews with senior leadership.
  • Monitor, measure, and report supply and production planning KPIs (CTS, MPS adherence, supply adherence, out-of-stocks), and drive continuous improvement actions based on performance gaps.
  • Contribute to annual budget preparation and consolidation for different JP sites.
  • Support issue resolution through structured escalation, aligned with the agreed escalation tree.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance planning processes, systems, and workflows, and supporting the implementation of standard planning procedures and best practices.

Qualifications and Skills: 


  • Bachelor’s Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Pharmacy.
  • 3–6 years of relevant experience in Production Planning and/or Supply Planning, preferably in a pharmaceutical or FMCG manufacturing environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA / ECC
  • SAP IBP experience is preferred.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing constraints, capacity planning & detailed scheduling.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Stakeholder management skills, including regular presentations to senior management.
  • Strong follow-up and execution skills.
  •  Experience in leading cross-functional projects and teams.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are mandatory. Power BI skills are a strong advantage
