Job Summary
The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing high-quality food items, kitchen supplies, and services at the best possible value to ensure smooth operations in catering services. This role requires deep knowledge of the food supply market, supplier management, and compliance with food safety standards
Duties and Responsibilities:
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
· 3+ years of experience in procurement, preferably in the food and catering industry.
· Strong knowledge of food products, perishables, and kitchen equipment.
· Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
· Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office.
· Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
· Knowledge of HACCP, ISO, or other food safety standards is a plus.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
