Job Purpose:

To manage and execute procurement activities related to architectural works, ensuring the acquisition of high-quality materials and services within budget and project timelines while achieving optimal value.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement plans for architectural works (finishes, building materials, interior elements, etc.).
  • Review drawings, specifications, and BOQs to accurately identify project requirements.
  • Source, evaluate, and select qualified suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Prepare and issue RFQs/RFPs and analyze technical and commercial proposals.
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve cost efficiency.
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders and track them through to delivery.
  • Coordinate with design, engineering, and site teams to ensure material compliance.
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely material availability.
  • Inspect and verify delivered materials against specifications and quality standards.
  • Maintain procurement records and prepare regular reports on purchasing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, preferably within construction or architectural projects.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural materials, finishes, and building systems.

Familiarity with procurement processes and supply chain management.
