Job description

  The Operational Planning Specialist designs, coordinates, and performs daily and long term transport plans, ensuring efficient use of resources and personnel. 


Key responsiblites:

- Performs the daily Transport Plan, ensuring all tasks are carried out efficiently and effectively.

- Collaborate with the Train Maintenance planning team to coordinate the entrance and delivery of Trainsets on a daily basis.

- Develop long-term transportation plans to optimize efficiency and resource allocation.

- Input daily plans into planification and Copernic programs for seamless tracking and monitoring.

- Cooperate with the OCC Room to communicate any changes or modifications that may impact operations.

- Prepare the staffing charts for TDs, COOBs, OCCs or any other department as required.

- Assign tasks to Train Drivers and COOBs, OCCs or any other department as required.

- Coordinate with the demand analysis department to assess availability and feasibility of proposed plans.

- Monitor maintenance demands on Trainsets and determine feasibility of implementation.

- Validate monthly Transportation requests from providers to ensure accuracy and compliance.

- Collaborate with Traffic Control to ensure availability of tracks aligns with proposed service plans.
