NFPA ENGINEER

Responsibilities:

1. Design and develop comprehensive fire protection plans that comply with NFPA standards, utilizing advanced engineering software to create detailed system layouts and specifications.
2. Conduct thorough risk assessments and safety audits to identify potential fire hazards, implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks and enhance safety measures.
3. Collaborate with architects and construction teams to integrate fire protection systems into building designs, ensuring compliance with local codes and regulations.
4. Prepare and present technical reports and documentation for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies, showcasing compliance with NFPA standards and best practices.
5. Oversee the installation and commissioning of fire protection systems, coordinating with contractors to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
6. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on existing fire systems, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring operational efficiency.
7. Lead training sessions for staff on fire safety protocols and procedures, fostering a culture of safety awareness and preparedness within the organization.
8. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in fire protection technology, recommending innovative solutions that enhance safety and efficiency.
9. Act as a liaison with local fire departments and regulatory agencies, ensuring that all fire safety practices meet or exceed compliance requirements.
