We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Network Engineer to join our Managed Services team.
The successful candidate will be deployed on-site at the client’s premises to support, operate, and maintain complex enterprise network environments.
This role requires deep technical expertise, hands-on operational skills, and the ability to work in a high-demand managed services environment.
Duties and Responsibilities: Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot enterprise network systems to ensure high availability, optimal performance, and security.
Provide proactive maintenance and incident resolution to maintain network stability.
Collaborate with internal and client teams to resolve escalations and implement approved network changes.
Participate in network change control processes and support 24/7 operations as required.
Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and operational activities.
Implementation & Upgrades Install and configure new products, applying performance optimization and security best practices.
Supervise and execute migrations of existing solutions, including required updates and upgrades.
Perform full implementations, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and provide necessary technical documentation.
Ensure smooth administration of systems to maintain service availability for authorized users.
Testing, Documentation & Reporting Conduct integration testing and validation of applications, systems, and network solutions.
Prepare comprehensive documentation for implemented products, configurations, and processes.
Provid Technical Assistance & Client Support Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting to resolve network and systems issues.
Provide regular status reports to supervisors and project managers.
Deliver proactive technical support for major accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks to avoid downtime.
Deliver knowledge transfer sessions and hands-on training for client teams.
Required Technical Expertise Hands-on operational experience with the following is essential: Cisco Collaboration Suite: CUCM, UCCX, IM&P, CUC, Expressway-E & C, Cisco Voice Gateways Cisco ISE and Cisco DNA Center Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC): 5500 & 9800 series Cisco Routing & Switching Cisco Imagicle Recording F5 Load Balancers: GTM, LTM Riverbed Steelhead & SCC Orion SolarWinds Monitoring Additional desirable knowledge: Network security solutions (Firewalls, NGFW, WAF – Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto) Wireless infrastructure design and optimization Software Defined Networking (SDN) concepts and implementation Network monitoring and performance management tools Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in network operations, support, and implementation roles.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Cisco certifications (CCNP, CCIE) are highly desirable.
Experience in Managed Services environments is preferred.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
