Job description

The Mobile Crane Operator plays a critical role in the oil and gas industry, particularly in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, where heavy lifting and precise maneuvering are essential for operational success. This position requires a skilled operator who can safely and efficiently operate mobile cranes to handle various loads, ensuring that all lifting operations are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. The Mobile Crane Operator will be responsible for maintaining equipment, conducting pre-operation inspections, and collaborating with other team members to achieve project goals.

Responsibilities:

  1. Operate mobile cranes to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment.
  2. Conduct pre-operation checks and inspections to ensure the crane is in safe working condition.
  3. Communicate effectively with ground crew and other operators to coordinate lifting operations.
  4. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks during lifting operations.
  5. Maintain accurate records of operations, including load weights and equipment usage.
  6. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on crane equipment.
  7. Assist in the setup and dismantling of crane equipment as needed.
  8. Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to stay updated on best practices.
  9. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
  10. Ensure compliance with environmental regulations during lifting operations.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Valid mobile crane operator certification or license.
  2. Proven experience in operating mobile cranes in industrial settings.
  3. Strong understanding of safety regulations and lifting protocols.
  4. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  5. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration.
  6. Problem-solving skills to address operational challenges.
  7. Willingness to work in various weather conditions and at heights.
  8. Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in operations.
  9. Physical stamina and strength to handle the demands of the job.
