Job description

Responsibilities & Reporting

  • Report to: Maintenance foreman or person in charge.
  • Primary Responsibility: Electrical and preventive maintenance activities for all machines related to paper production.

Main Tasks

  1. Conduct machine schedules of preventive maintenance.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues.
  3. Assist in electrical machine troubleshooting and repairing.
  4. Communicate with maintenance in charge and machine suppliers/service technicians for machine issues if required.
  5. Prepare reports, update checklists, and start CMMS or MWR requests.
  6. Check daily JOB orders and pending mechanical work.
  7. Attend to production requests related to mechanical activities.
  8. Monitor production area for possible machine problems or breakdowns.
  9. Maintain cleanliness of the production and working area.
  10. Maintain, clean, and arrange equipment/tools and update work at the production area.


Skills

Minimum Experience / Qualifications

  • Mechanical graduate (preferred but not mandatory) or any reputed technical school graduate.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a mechanical technician in a paper section manufacturing plant.
  • Knowledge of repairing and troubleshooting any machine and equipment problems in a paper section manufacturing plant.
