Job description

1. Procurement Management:

  • Source and procure materials, equipment, and services required for projects and operations.
  • Evaluate supplier bids, negotiate pricing, and establish terms of agreements.

2. Supplier Relations:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.
  • Conduct supplier evaluations to ensure reliability, quality, and compliance.

3. Cost and Quality Control:

  • Monitor and manage procurement budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  • Ensure that all purchases meet the required quality standards and specifications.

4. Inventory and Logistics Coordination:

  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to manage inventory levels.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any logistical challenges.

5. Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, and contracts.

6. Market Research:

  • Stay updated on market trends, pricing, and availability of materials and services.
  • Identify new suppliers and assess their potential to meet organizational needs.

7. Reporting:

  • Prepare procurement reports, including cost analyses and supplier performance metrics.
  • Provide regular updates to management on procurement activities and challenges.
