This is a high-impact regional role responsible for shaping and delivering the Learning & Development (L&D) agenda across AMECA, while also providing short-term support to AEUK.

This is a mix of strategic position and hands-on delivery and facilitation role. The successful candidate will actively consult with the business leaders to identify capability needs, and design, facilitate, and measure our learning and leadership solutions across the region, working directly with leaders, teams, and stakeholders to embed capability development into the fabric of the business.

You will operate as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, partnering closely with P&C and EDIB teams to drive measurable organisational impact through learning, leadership, and talent initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a high-impact L&D strategy aligned to regional talent and people priorities
  • Design and embed L&D frameworks, governance, and policies across AMECA
  • Project manage global and regional leadership development programs
  • Deliver and facilitate leadership, capability, and behavioural programs across AMECA (and support AEUK in the short term)
  • Coach and mentor leaders and develop L&D team capability
  • Partner with P&C, EDIB and business leaders to embed learning into organisational culture
  • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
  • Measure and report ROI of L&D programs at the organisational level
  • Lead instructional design initiatives, including digital and blended learning solutions
  • Develop high-quality learning materials for technical and consulting environments
  • Manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within tight deadlines
  • Coordinate and oversee program logistics end-to-end

Key Qualifications & Experience

  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing high-impact L&D strategies
  • Proven experience designing frameworks, policies, and structured learning pathways
  • Strong background in project managing complex, multi-regional programs
  • Advanced coaching and mentoring capability
  • Experience measuring organisational-level learning impact and ROI
  • Demonstrated instructional design experience (preferably in engineering, technical, or consulting environments)
  • Experience working across diverse, multicultural regions

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong and well-rounded knowledge of the L&D function
  • Exceptional presentation and facilitation skills (in-person and virtual)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capability
  • Strong project management and organisational skills
  • Expert knowledge of L&D best practice and adult learning principles
  • Consulting, influencing, and negotiation capability
  • Ability to work independently and deliver without close supervision
  • Instructional design expertise (desirable)
  • Experience with e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate) (desirable)
  • Working knowledge of LMS platforms (preferably Docebo)
  • Familiarity with psychometric tools (e.g., Hogan, LSI) and coaching methodologies
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans
  • Strong analytical capability to measure impact and ROI
