The Senior IT Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business needs, translating them into system requirements, and ensuring that IT solutions effectively support business operations and strategic objectives. The role works closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Conduct workshops and meetings with business users to understand requirements.
- Perform gap analysis between current processes and proposed solutions.
- Support implementation of enterprise systems such as SAP S/4HANA, SuccessFactors, Ariba, and other business applications.
- Work with technical teams and vendors to ensure correct system configuration and integration.
- Assist in testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and system validation.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
- Recommend technology solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Document and improve business processes and workflows.
- Act as the liaison between business users and IT teams.
- Provide guidance and support to end users on system capabilities.
- Communicate project updates, issues, and risks to management.
- Prepare Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Business Requirement Documents (BRD), and process documentation.
- Maintain system documentation and knowledge base.
- Generate reports and analysis to support decision making.
- Participate in IT projects including planning, implementation, and deployment.
- Ensure project deliverables meet business expectations.
- Coordinate with vendors and external consultants when required.
