Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Commercial Manager join our our  award-winning team based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.


We envisage success in this role to include;


  • Review and analyze construction contracts, including design-build, FM, and supervision Contracts.
  • Negotiate and review contract terms and conditions, including scope of work, Design Changes, and change orders.
  • Ensure that all necessary Bonds and insurance requirements are in place before commencing construction activities.
  • Monitor and track contract progress, including milestone achievements, deliverables, and payment schedules.
  • Manage and resolve disputes or disagreements arising from contract interpretation, scope changes, or project delays.
  • Coordinate with the Client and Contractors on conflicts issues, claims, and disputes related to contracts or construction activities.
  • Oversee the administration of construction-related documents, especially for the issuance of certificates of completion.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of contract-related documents, changes, and project documentation.
  • Review regular reports to management on contract performance.
  • Prepare a response to the Contractor(s)/Client for Nontechnical inquiries and correspondences.
  • Review and recommendation for processing the Payment Requests (Interim/Final).
  • Prepare the Engineer’s Determination on the matters that lays under the Engineer’s responsibility for determination.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 20 years work experience partnered with a Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or relevant.


Excellent experience in a previous PMC role is essential as well as membership to a professional body e.g RICS, MICE etc
