ABOUT THE ROLE


The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving the growth and diversification of the organization by developing and implementing effective business strategies. This role will focus on expanding the client base, increasing revenue, and ensuring the long-term sustainability and success of the organization. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in business development, strong communication skills, and the ability to effectively manage key relationships and stakeholders.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Create and implement effective business development strategies to drive long-term growth and revenue.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and maximize business opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base and achieve sales targets.
  • Acquire an in-depth understanding of the company’s products and services, effectively communicating the value proposition to potential clients.
  • Develop and present compelling business proposals to clients and stakeholders.
  • Lead negotiations with stakeholders to secure favorable terms and close new business deals.
  • Identify key strengths within the business and align them with customer needs to create mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Research market opportunities, industry trends, and viable income streams to ensure the business remains competitive and responsive to changing demands.
  • Source new sales opportunities through both inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calling/emails.
  • Open new accounts, establish credit facilities, and develop operational procedures to ensure smooth onboarding for customers.
  • Close sales deals to meet and exceed quarterly sales quotas.
  • Conduct in-depth research on target accounts, identify key decision-makers, and generate interest in the company’s offerings.

Requirements

Education / Qualification


  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.

Experience


  • At least 3-5 years’ experience in a business development role within the Saudi Arabian market.
