Job Summary:
The BIM Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for developing, managing, and coordinating Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes for infrastructure projects including roads, utilities, and civil works. The role ensures accurate digital representation of projects, enhances coordination among disciplines, and supports project delivery through advanced BIM methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage BIM models for infrastructure projects (roads, grading, drainage, utilities, etc.).
• Coordinate BIM activities across multiple disciplines (civil, electrical, mechanical).
• Ensure compliance with BIM standards, project requirements, and client specifications.
• Prepare and review 3D models, shop drawings, and construction documentation.
• Conduct clash detection and resolve coordination issues using BIM tools.
• Integrate survey data, GIS data, and design inputs into BIM models.
• Support quantity take-offs and cost estimation from BIM models.
• Assist in 4D (time) and 5D (cost) BIM implementation when required.
• Maintain model accuracy throughout project lifecycle (design to construction).
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth data exchange.
• Provide technical support and training to team members on BIM tools and workflows
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–7 years of experience in infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience in BIM for roads and utilities.
Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in BIM software such as:
• Autodesk Civil 3D
• Autodesk Revit
• Navisworks
• InfraWorks
• Experience with:
• Clash detection and coordination
• Quantity take-off
• Model-based design workflows
• Knowledge of BIM standards (ISO 19650 preferred).
• Familiarity with GIS integration is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:
• BIM Certification (Autodesk or equivalent).
• Experience in infrastructure projects
