Associate Clinical Engineer/Biomedical Engineer (Saudi Nationals Only)

Job Summary:

The Biomedical Engineer (Maintenance) is responsible for the installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of medical equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous operation within healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance of biomedical equipment.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair faults in medical devices and systems.
• Install, calibrate, and test new medical equipment.
• Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation.
• Ensure all equipment complies with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for spare parts and technical support.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues.
• Provide technical support and training to healthcare staff on equipment usage.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend upgrades or replacements.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and international standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in medical equipment maintenance (hospital experience preferred).
• Strong knowledge of biomedical systems, electronics, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., ISO, FDA, or local healthcare regulations).
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
