Job description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced professional to oversee the inspection, repair, testing, and calibration of valves in our workshop. The role involves managing manpower, ensuring quality compliance, and coordinating with clients to deliver high-standard services within committed timelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor day-to-day workflow and ensure productivity and quality targets are met
  • Supervise inspection, repair, testing, and calibration of valves
  • Ensure compliance with API, ANSI, and ASME standards
  • Maintain and implement Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Handle documentation including SOPs, ITPs, and quality records
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, including third-party inspections
  • Manage NCRs and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
  • Ensure strict adherence to HSE and safety procedures (PPE compliance)
  • Provide technical support for estimation and repair processes
  • Coordinate with clients to ensure requirements are understood and fulfilled

  • Deliver effective technical solutions and problem-solving in valve servicing
  • Ensure accurate documentation and certification processes
  • Complete all servicing within agreed timelines
  • Maintain high safety and compliance standards
  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction

  • 100% compliance with API / ANSI / ASME standards (Zero rejections)
  • Achieve workshop productivity targets (valves serviced per shift)
  • Zero safety incidents (LTI / Near Miss)

  • 85–90% manpower utilization and continuous team improvement
  • Achieve 70% conversion of quotations into confirmed orders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Strong experience in valve assembly, repair, and calibration

  • Knowledge of international standards (API, ANSI, ASME)
  • Experience in QMS, audits, and documentation
