Job description

We are seeking a QC Engineer who will be responsible for inspection, testing, quality control, and compliance activities related to rotating equipment, precision-machined components, and workshop operations. The role ensures all products and services meet client, OEM, regulatory, and company quality requirements.


Key Responsibilities


  • Perform dimensional and mechanical inspections of components and assemblies.
  • Review inspection and test plans, quality plans, and inspection procedures.
  • Conduct thread inspections as per API standards.
  • Perform PT and MT inspections in accordance with approved procedures.
  • Coordinate inspection activities with clients, OEMs, and third-party agencies.
  • Manage non-conformance reports and corrective actions.
  • Verify calibration status of inspection and measuring equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with client, OEM, and regulatory quality requirements.
  • Support supplier and incoming material inspections.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and workshop compliance programs.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of QC/Inspection experience in rotating equipment, machining, repair, or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with compressors, turbines, pumps, and rotating equipment.
  • ASNT Level II certification in PT and MT mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of API 5CT, API 5B, API 7-1, and API 7-2 standards.
  • Experience with dimensional inspection, precision measurement tools, and calibration activities.
  • Knowledge of quality management systems and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Experience using CMM or FARO Arm inspection systems is preferred.
