Job description

  • Reviewing job orders related to Manual Binding
  • Handling all kind of manual binding including Hard box making, hard bound book making, hard cover making and Binding
  • Operating of Sewing machine and manual gluing machine
  • Performs troubleshooting on minor machine issues in Sewing machine and manual gluing machine
  • Coordinate with the in-house maintenance team for any machine malfunctions
  • Cleaning of the printing press and peripherals
  • Other duties as maybe assigned by the Supervisor

Skills

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a Printing press as a Manual Binder
  • Hands on experience on all kind of hard box making, hard bound booking making, hard cover making and binding
  • Experience in operating Sewing machine and manual gluing machine
  • Certificate of any program in Printing Technology
  • Attention to details
  • Creative mindset
  • Technical knowledge on the printing machines & binding
  • Ability to communicate
  • Ability to work well with others
