We are hiring a Logistics Officer for one of our leading clients in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate must have hands-on logistics experience within a manufacturing environment and be currently based in Qatar. The role is responsible for coordinating inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely material movement, compliance with local regulations, and smooth coordination with suppliers, transporters, and internal departments.
Plan, coordinate, and monitor inbound and outbound shipments for raw materials and finished goods
Liaise with freight forwarders, transporters, customs brokers, and warehouses
Ensure compliance with Qatar customs regulations, documentation, and import/export procedures
Track shipments and resolve delivery delays, damages, or discrepancies
Coordinate with production, procurement, and warehouse teams to support manufacturing schedules
Prepare and verify logistics documentation including invoices, packing lists, delivery notes, and customs papers
Monitor logistics costs and support cost-optimization initiatives
Maintain accurate logistics records and reports
Ensure adherence to HSE and company policies related to logistics operations
Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
3–6 years of logistics experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
Strong knowledge of local logistics operations and customs clearance in Qatar
Experience handling local transportation, warehousing, and vendor coordination
Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word)
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Must be currently available in Qatar
Manufacturing/Heavy industries/supply chain/procurement industries
Valid Qatar ID with transferable visa (preferred)
Experience working with industrial materials or factory supply chains
Knowledge of INCOTERMS
Cost control and vendor negotiation exposure
