Almana Group is seeking a motivated Junior Application & Development Officer to support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of business applications. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to grow their technical skills in a dynamic corporate IT environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of business applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application-related issues.
  • Gather and document business requirements.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and forms to support business operations.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Assist with system integrations and data migration activities.
  • Prepare technical documentation and user manuals.
  • Provide application support and end-user training when required.
  • Monitor application performance and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security standards and development best practices.
  • Coordinate with vendors and third-party consultants when necessary.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

Skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in software development or application support.
  • Fresh graduates with relevant internship experience or university projects are encouraged to apply.


Technical Skills

  • Knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
  • Basic programming knowledge in C#, .NET, Java, Python, or similar technologies.
  • Understanding of APIs and system integration concepts.
  • Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, SSRS, or Crystal Reports is considered a plus.
