Job description

  • Identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
  • Verify electrical system compatibility and safety by testing circuits in wiring, equipment, and fixtures with ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
  • During inspection of electrical systems, equipment, and components, ensure compliance with codes, identify hazards and defects, and determine necessary adjustments or repairs.
  • Inspect all electrical parts and equipment across the plant to identify any anomalies, and create notifications to address any issues that are identified.

Skills

  • Electrical Systems Knowledge: A solid understanding of electrical theory, wiring, and components is crucial.
  • Troubleshooting: The ability to diagnose and resolve electrical problems efficiently.
  • Safety Practices: Adherence to safety regulations and procedures is paramount when working with electrical systems.
  • Tool Proficiency: Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and testing instruments.
  • Mechanical Aptitude: Understanding and working with mechanical systems.
