Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Design and Development: Design and update unmanned aircraft structures and systems using engineering design software (such as SolidWorks). Programming and Control: Configure autonomous flight systems, integrate artificial intelligence software, and calibrate sensors and guidance systems. Flight Testing: Conduct pre-flight tests, evaluate aerodynamic performance, and verify the responsiveness of control systems. Maintenance and Repair: Diagnose mechanical and electronic faults, replace damaged parts, and perform routine maintenance. Compliance with Regulations: Ensure that flights and aircraft designs comply with the safety laws and standards imposed by civil aviation authorities.
Technical and Engineering Skills: Embedded Systems Programming: Proficiency in languages such as C++ or Python for programming microcontrollers. Autonomous Flight Software: Experience with control and navigation systems such as ArduPilot, PX4, and Mission Planner. Engineering Design (CAD): Use of software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD to design and modify aircraft components. Electronics and Communications: Understanding of power circuits, sensor systems (LiDAR, cameras), and radio frequencies. Data Analysis: Ability to process images and geographic data extracted from flights.
