This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with 2–5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and ELV solutions design, including physical security CCTV, ACS, and infrastructure network solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and interpret CAD drawings for IT/ELV systems (CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, datacenter, IP phone & Wifi Network Design, etc.).
Perform quantity take-offs and generate Bill of Materials (BOM) from technical drawings.
Design and draft schematics for active network systems, audiovisual solutions, and low-voltage infrastructure.
Develop 3D renderings to visualize system layouts and integrate designs with architectural/mechanical plans.
Support the bid management team in preparing project materials, submittals, proposal documentation, and technical deliverables for tenders.
Collaborate with engineers and project teams to ensure designs meet technical standards and client requirements.
Update as-built drawings and maintain accurate documentation throughout project lifecycles
Qualifications:
Diploma/Degree in Electrical Engineering, CAD Drafting, and 3D rendering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2–5 years of hands-on experience in CAD drafting and 3D rendering for ELV/IT systems, including:
- Designing datacenter solutions and networking topology.
- CCTV design compliant with MOI regulations (Qatar Ministry of Interior standards).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools; experience with 3D rendering software (e.g., SketchUp, SolidWorks).
- Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, perform quantity take-offs, and adhere to industry standards (TIA/EIA, BICSI).
- Familiarity with network design principles, ELV systems integration, and construction documentation and material submittal documentation.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
