We are seeking an experienced Atlassian Expert Consultant to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Atlassian products, including Jira, Confluence, and Bitbucket, and will work on various projects to implement and optimize these tools for our clients.
Key Responsibilities: * Proven hands-on experience with Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
* Strong experience supporting both Atlassian Cloud and Data Center environments.
* In-depth knowledge of Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and ITSM frameworks (ITIL preferred).
* Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Bitbucket in both Cloud and Data Center environments.
* Lead end-to-end implementations including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, migration, testing, go-live, and post-go-live support.
* Perform migrations between Server/Data Center and Cloud, including data integrity validation and performance optimization.
* Configure projects, workflows, issue types, screens, fields, permissions, schemes, SLAs, automation rules, and service catalogs.
* Administer users, groups, roles, and access controls in alignment with security and compliance requirements.
* Develop and maintain automation rules and scripts to extend platform capabilities (e.
g., Groovy, Python, Bash, PowerShell, REST APIs).
* Integrate Atlassian tools with third-party systems such as identity providers, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and enterprise applications.
* Customize dashboards, reports, and KPIs for Agile, ITSM, and management use cases.
* Manage and support Atlassian Data Center deployments including clustering, load balancing, shared storage, and high availability.
* Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement tuning and scaling strategies.
* Plan and execute upgrades, patching, and maintenance with minimal downtime.
* Ensure backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures are documented and tested.
* Implement security best practices including authentication, authorization, encryption, and audit logging.
* Collaborate with security teams to address vulnerabilities and compliance requirements.
* Maintain documentation for system architecture, configurations, and operational procedures.
* Act as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, translating business needs into technical solutions.
* Provide user training, knowledge transfer sessions, and clear technical documentation.
* Offer Level 2/3 support and incident/problem resolution for Atlassian platforms * Experience working with REST APIs and webhooks.
General IT Knowledge * decent understanding of databases.
* Strong grasp of security fundamentals including IAM, authentication protocols (SSO, SAML, OAuth), and access control.
* Good knowledge of networking concepts such as DNS, load balancing, firewalls, and proxies.
* Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Linux and Windows environments.
