Job Description

Key Responsibilities / Duties:


·          Acts in the capacity of owing end to end dev tasks.


·          Able to set technical standards for the team and influences the team to adhere and follow them.


·          Implement technical design and development. Write robust back-end code using Python/R libraries


·          Develop rich, interactive data visualizations, and other dynamic features


·          Automate test using tools like Selenium, Junit, Jasmine, Mocha, Chai using Test driven development framework.


·          Be part of a forum for code reviews before the code is deployed to production


·          Collaborate with product managers to translate business problems into technical requirements


·          Communicate effectively across all team roles, users, and stakeholders


Work Experience / Knowledge:


·          Must have experience in UI with expertise in building independent interfaces/development & deep expertise in Python, FAST API / ReactJS.


·          4+ years of IT experience in programming like Python, building relational databases in Cloud like Snowflake, SQL Server etc.


·          4+ years of experience in React.js (v17+) and modern JavaScript (ES6+).


·          Working knowledge of TypeScript (beginner level).


·          3+ experience with Cloud based technologies (AWS) and 2+ experience with Snowflake is a plus


·          Strong Production experience of application server and database development, including basic data structures and algorithms


·          Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and styling frameworks like Tailwind CSS (preferred).


·          Experience with form development, including styling, validation, and dynamic behavior.


·          Familiarity with Formik and AG Grid or equivalent libraries.


·          Exposure to testing frameworks such as Jest and React Testing Library (RTL) is a plus.


·          Understanding of frontend performance optimization, clean code principles, and best practices.


·          Experience with Bitbucket and JIRA in an Agile development environment is advantageous.


·          Experience/Exposure to Financial Markets is a plus.

·          Maintenance of up-to-date knowledge in the appropriate technical areas


·          Able to work in a global, multicultural environment


Working Conditions:


·          Normal office environment with little exposure to noise, dust, and temperatures 


·          The ability to lift, carry or otherwise move objects of up to 10 pounds is also necessary 


·          Normally a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending upon the project or assignment 


·          Hours may include evenings and/or weekends and may include 24 hours a day on call support by pager and/or cell phone 


·          Able and willing to travel both domestically and internationally.  Frequency and duration to be determined by manager. Estimate: 0-5%
