Reporting directly to the Delivery Operations Manager, we are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Technical Field Support Engineer based in Casablanca. In this role, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful installation and commissioning of KONE products. You will provide hands-on technical support, troubleshoot and resolve issues identified by manufacturing and installation teams, and ensure that all installations meet KONE’s stringent safety, quality, and process standards. Your expertise will help deliver seamless, timely, and problem-free installations that uphold our commitment to excellence.

What will you do:


  • Provide remote and on-site technical support to Front-Line teams, ensuring timely resolution of installation challenges.
  • Support digital, PFI, software, and BIM-related issues to enhance project delivery and technical capability.
  • Deliver technical expertise to ensure installations meet customer-specific ride comfort and performance requirements.
  • Train employees during site visits and deliver structured training sessions to build local capability.
  • Collaborate with global and local training centers, contributing technical expertise to enhance training programs.
  • Prepare detailed quality reports following site visits, identifying issues and recommending corrective actions.
  • Record and escalate helpdesk issues in line with KONE processes, ensuring effective corrective measures.
  • Participate in project closing reviews to capture lessons learned and integrate improvements into business practices, including product and skills development.
  • Always operate strictly within KONE’s safety requirements and guidelines.
  • Ensure all installations comply with global processes as well as customer and partner safety standards.
  • Proactively report safety concerns and immediately stop work if any safety violations or hazards are identified.
  • Liaise with site personnel to confirm lift readiness, communicate impacts, and ensure proper site coordination.
  • Verify that the lift is electrically safe before commissioning.
  • Commission lifts in accordance with agreed specifications and performance parameters.
  • Conduct testing in line with relevant test documentation, KONE standards, EN81 requirements, and applicable Lift Directives.
  • Take measurements, complete required documentation, and record any abnormalities for corrective action or risk assessment (H&RA).
  • Perform final inspections and sign off on the final inspection documentation.
  • Report lift conditions and provide snag lists to the Installation Supervisor, maintaining clear internal communication protocols.
  • Participate in meetings and workgroups related to quality and technical matters.
  • Ensure lift well security and the safety of all personnel and third parties during commissioning and testing activities.

Are you the one?


  • 5 years of technical experience in the elevator/escalator industry is a must.
  • Comprehensive expertise in products and corrective action processes to ensure effective issue resolution.
  • In-depth understanding of applicable norms and requirements for each project, ensuring compliance and quality.
  • Prioritizes safety considerations and selects environmentally sustainable solutions whenever feasible.
  • Fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in relevant IT systems and tools, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Willingness to travel as required to support project needs.
  • Adaptable and flexible in dynamic work environments.
  • Knowledge of KONE and/or competitor products to provide informed support and solutions would be an advantage.
