Operations Manager
The role:
- Lead the set-up and day-to-day operations of a new Moroccan facility, ensuring efficient processes and operational excellence across a short cycle press manufacturing plant.
- Source a suitable location or facility and obtain any relevant permits.
- Supply chain responsibility for the import of impregnated paper and board, working closely with the commercial team.
- Have a hands-on approach to operations, being responsible for the operation and maintenance of a short cycle press facility.
- Drive continuous improvement in Safety, Environmental, Operations and Quality performance within the plant
- Develop the team, including recruitment, inductions, appraisals, up-skilling, performance management and mentoring
- Oversee all maintenance within the department, ensuring maximum availability whilst controlling costs.
- Liaise closely with suppliers to ensure the high volume, high quality product standards are maintained throughout.
