About the position
Reporting to the IT Manager within the IT Office, the IT Help Desk Technician provides daily technical support to professors, researchers, and administrative teams. They ensure the continuity, quality, and reliability of IT services to guarantee the smooth running of educational and administrative activities.
Main tasks
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support (hardware, software, network, peripherals).
• Diagnose and resolve technical incidents as quickly as possible.
• Log, process, and track requests using the IT ticket management tool.
• Install, configure, and maintain workstations and IT equipment.
• Provide technical support in classrooms (audiovisual equipment, hybrid devices, videoconferencing).
• Manage and update the IT inventory.
• Escalate complex incidents to the IT Manager or the central IT department if necessary.
Profile sought
• Bachelor's degree (Bac+3/4) in IT or equivalent qualification.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in IT support or help desk.
• Strong service orientation and focus on user satisfaction.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and listening abilities.
• Responsiveness, autonomy, and organizational skills.
• Working knowledge of English is appreciated.
