Meet the Team



We are seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated Finance Manager. In this role, you will partner closely with the CX organization to meet their strategic financial objectives in addition to owning consolidated reporting and modeling. The position reports to the CX FP&A Central Planning & P&L manager.




Your Impact



This position requires focus on both existing and evolving financial metrics consistent with Splunk & Cisco overall business model transition. It is a unique and interesting opportunity for an exceptional individual to collaborate with the CX Finance team and influence strategic decisions via sound data-driven strategic analysis.



  • Establish collaborative partnerships with key business and FP&A partners to deliver analytical support and enable insights into business performance.



  • You will roll up your sleeves and help drive annual operating plans, quarterly and monthly financial reporting and ongoing analysis for actuals versus plan and/or forecast.



  • Build new smart, sustainable, robust financial models for forecasting, planning, and ad hoc analyses and maintain existing models.



  • Prepare quarter-end executive reporting and presentations, support monthly and quarterly operations review, and quarterly business reviews



  • Own the monthly and quarterly financial close process for the CX organization to ensure accurate reporting within the period.



  • Provide strategic and tactical support on annual budgeting and planning process



  • Communicate effectively to key stakeholders around process updates, key deliverables, and timelines



  • Streamline procedures and drive process change with business applications to improve overall effectiveness



  • Work cross-functionally to drive efficient processes and leverage best practices



  • Liaise with CX Finance (FP&A, Regional teams, Renewals, etc), CX Strategy & Planning, Corporate Finance and other cross functional teams as required




Minimum Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field and minimum 4 years of related experience, demonstrating increasing responsibility.



  • Advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, and logical functions), and solid PowerPoint skills



  • Proven ability to work independently, think critically, manage multiple deadlines, and adapt to a fast-paced environment



  • Demonstrate proficiency in financial software systems (e.g., ERPs like SAP, Oracle) and experience managing large datasets.



  • Outstanding English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate clearly and expertly with collaborators across all levels in a global or multinational environment.




Preferred Qualifications



  • 5+ years of progressive experience, ideally with a focus on Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) or business partnering.



  • Experience in building complex financial models and conducting quantitative analysis to solve business problems.



  • Familiarity with enterprise performance management (EPM) or business intelligence (BI) tools (e.g., Anaplan, Hyperion, Tableau, Power BI).



  • Strong business insight and analytical skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.



  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of effective cross-functional collaboration.
