What we’re looking for:
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Maritime Management, or related fields.
At least 3 years’ experience in customs operations, permits, licenses or logistics supervision.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian import/export regulations, customs procedures, and port operations.
Skills & Attributes
Strong leadership, team management and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken and written).
Proficient in Microsoft Office, SMK, DagangNet, and other customs/operations systems.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure.
Proactive, solutions-oriented and able to work independently.

The Role
Responsible for supervising the operations team and overseeing all customs regulatory, permit and license activities. The successful candidate will ensure that all operational tasks are executed accurately, efficiently and in compliance with government regulations, while coordinating with internal teams, branches, vendors, and government authorities.
Key responsibilities include:
Supervising and leading the operations team to ensure accurate and timely processing of customs declarations, permits, and licenses.
Keep up-to-date with government regulations and communicate relevant information to colleagues and customers.
Coordinating operational activities across branches to ensure efficient and cost-effective team performance.
Preparing reports on customs declarations, billing and operational KPIs.
Proactively identifying/resolving operational issues; escalating to the manager when necessary.
Supporting the growth of the logistics department by assisting in business development initiatives.
Be available and contactable for operational support when required.
Carry out additional assignments as directed by management.
