The Maintenance Technician is responsible for the equipment performance and availability within his
own field of expertise and perimeter. He is the key technical contact within his field and proposes
solutions to improve equipment. He applies safety, environment and prevention standards within his
work area.
Areas of responsibility
Perform Maintenance
• Makes failures diagnosis and helps maintenance operators in solving complex breakdowns.
• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance.
• Contributes to new works projects (feasibility, monitoring of works).
• Takes corrective action to restore equipment.
• Produces intervention reports when the work is completed.
• Validates works end or progress with the production.
Monitoring of performance
• Knows all equipment.
• Controls and checks equipment and ensures its conformity(availability, standard, safety).
• Optimizes equipment performance, the life of critical parts and overall maintenance costs.
• Monitors physical indicators to know the situation in his perimeter.
• Reports the achieved results in his perimeter.
Application of standards
• Follows safety rules.
• Performs maintenance respecting production standards.
• Respects maintenance’s service and store’s management standards.
• Alerts on the dysfunctions and risks of damages.
• In case of deviation, brings equipment back up to standard.
• Identifies the degree or criticality of deviations from standards.
• Participates in safety incident analysis.
Makes standards evolve
- Technical level background with electrical degree (TS / LT)
- Good Knowledge in: PLC, AC Drive, DC Drive, Electrical Drawings, and Troubleshooting
- Minimum 4 Years Experience
- Good Team Player, Dynamic, & Fast learner
- Good English
