Job description

Assist the Infrastructure specialist in planning and completing desired projects

  • Software: Microsoft Windows Server 2012, Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft Office Professional Applications
  • Hardware: Desktop/Laptop support, Server hardware support, Cisco Switches/Router/Firewall support, Familiar with Video Conferencing equipment, Familiar with PABX and telephonic equipment, Network design and cabling skills 
  • Support and tackle problems of end users calls relevant to network, internet connectivity, printers, and other peripherals, telephony System and applications, etc.…
  • Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot Desktops, Laptops, time attendance machines and printers connected to the company network 
  • Maintain an inventory of computers, scanners, printers, and all equipment connected to the IT infrastructure, as well as, a software library and backup copies
  • Maintain minimum inventory stationary level of printers, computers and submit purchase request on time to avoid shortage
  • Regularly monitor alerts/logs generated from IT Equipment's / Applications 
  • Perform regular backups according to best practices as established in policies and procedures 
  • Perform ERP packages when needed
  • Submit Daily Check List report to ensure availability of servers over network, SQL services, successful execution of scheduled JDE and SQL job. Also, to ensure that company website is functional and all features are usable, etc.…
  • Provide front end support on Hand-Held machines to presales/DMS users (configuration, installation, setup, training, etc.….)
  • Provide hardware support on PCs, laptops, printers
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent (TS3) or relevant Experience
  • Knowledge of personal computers and all common peripherals, including monitors, printers, modems, and other connection, communication and storage devices.
