Job description

The Holiday Travel Consultant is a passionate and client-focused professional responsible for designing, selling, and executing personalized leisure travel experiences. This role involves understanding client preferences, recommending suitable destinations and packages, managing bookings from inquiry to completion, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction for all holiday arrangements.

Skills

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of [2-3] years of experience as a Travel Consultant, specifically in leisure or holiday travel.
  • Proficiency in a Global Distribution System (GDS)
  • Knowledge of various travel destinations, cultures, and holiday segments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is a plus.

  • Exceptional sales and negotiation skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to handle unexpected situations calmly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Fluency in English and Arabic; additional languages are an asset.
