Job description

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Special Needs Teacher to join our early intervention nursery, part of Speech Plus – a leading center for developmental and autism support in Kuwait.


The teacher will work closely with young children (ages 2–6) with developmental delays and autism spectrum disorders, delivering individualized learning experiences and contributing to a collaborative, therapeutic environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Provide daily structured and play-based learning sessions
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (Speech, OT, ABA)
  • Monitor and document each child’s developmental progress
  • Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment





Skills


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Education
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with special needs children
  • Strong knowledge of developmental disorders (Autism, Global Developmental Delay)
  • Familiarity with ABA and Portage
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Patient, nurturing, and motivated personality
