Special Needs Teacher

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and qualified Special Needs Teacher to join our early intervention nursery, part of Speech Plus – a leading center for developmental and autism support in Kuwait.

The teacher will work closely with young children (ages 2–6) with developmental delays and autism spectrum disorders, delivering individualized learning experiences and contributing to a collaborative, therapeutic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Provide daily structured and play-based learning sessions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (Speech, OT, ABA)
• Monitor and document each child’s developmental progress
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers
• Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
