Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Salesman to join our watersports retail team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine interest in water-based activities such as jet skiing, paddleboarding, kayaking, and diving. In this role, you will assist customers, provide product recommendations, and contribute to achieving sales targets while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers with product inquiries and purchases
- Recommend appropriate watersports gear based on customer needs and skill levels
- Achieve and exceed sales targets and performance metrics
- Maintain organized product displays and ensure accurate inventory levels
- Stay updated on watersports trends, product features, and promotions
- Accurately process transactions at the point of sale
- Participate in product demonstrations and support seasonal promotions
- Handle customer inquiries and conduct follow-ups to ensure satisfaction
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail or sales, preferably in sporting goods or outdoor equipment
- Passion for watersports and a good understanding of related products
- Availability to work weekends and public holidays
- Physically able to lift and handle watersports equipment
- Fluent in English
