The Line Inspector is responsible for monitoring hygiene, quality, and production processes to ensure compliance with food safety and GMP standards. The role includes checking staff hygiene and PPE usage, inspecting production lines, machines, raw materials, and packaging before and during production, and monitoring temperatures and critical control points.
The inspector also performs quality checks on oil and finished products, verifies cleaning and sanitation procedures, inspects warehouse materials and pallets, and conducts vehicle inspections during receiving and dispatch. In addition, the role involves handling non-conforming materials, preventing cross-contamination, supporting food defense procedures.
