QHSE Specialist

We are seeking a qualified QHSE Specialist to manage and maintain integrated Quality, Health, Safety & Environmental systems within a dynamic operational environment. The role focuses on protecting personnel, assets (facilities, warehouses, logistics, and manufacturing plants), and the environment while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain Integrated Management Systems (IMS) in line with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and relevant API standards.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits, certification processes, and manage documented information systems (DMS).
  • Lead incident investigations (NCRs and near-misses), conduct root cause analysis, and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented and closed effectively.
  • Promote a positive safety culture through training, awareness programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor hazardous material handling, waste management, and environmental compliance.
  • Oversee the integrity of critical equipment, pressure systems, and operational facilities.
  • Implement and monitor safety systems such as PTW, LOTO, and SIMOPS.
  • Utilize digital monitoring tools to proactively identify and mitigate operational risks.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Petroleum, or related field).
  • 5–8 years of QHSE experience within Oil & Gas, logistics, chemical manufacturing, or facility operations.
  • NEBOSH Level 5 or equivalent international HSE certification preferred.
  • ISO Lead Auditor and API certifications are advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in developing policies, procedures, and training materials.
